The Brief:
To build and design web site giving information about alternative medicine practitioners for chronic medical conditions to the general public. It had to appeal to people from all walks of life, and be easy and simple to use. It had to look clean and modern, friendly but professional and have a natural theme.
It had to have a databank of illnesses as well as treatments and local practitioners. It required forms for users as well as a processing mechanism and CMS (Content Management System).

Background:
Pachaa was a lone venture and dream from a female client, who wished to offer a new service within the UK. Though there are many alternative medicine web sites there seemed to be few that gave recommendations for suitable practitioners who were professionally qualified to help with a specific ailment. Our client felt that there was a need for this service.
Work Process:
Once the brief was agreed, several designs were put together. We advised our client to choose an alternative green which was more natural than the bottle green usually associated with medicine and a bright orange that looked fresh and modern in contrast for the pages.
We developed a way in which the site could process users in a simple way and make information available easily. We also integrated a CMS to update pages and the medical database which was developed. The site was tested, but is yet to go live as more practitioners are needed before the service goes public.

The Result:
A simple easy to use site, which is friendly informative and offers a useful service for those interested in alternative treatments for chronic medical conditions by professionals based in the UK.
