Kennedy's Patent
The Brief:
To re-design their existing web site, which did not fully support their professional image. It had to incorporate a CMS (Content Management System) to update pages. Have a news feature as well as eye catching images taken from their new brochure. The theme was to follow their existing literature and advertising material.
Background:
Kennedy's Patent Ltd are a UK-based firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys providing a complete range of intellectual property services. The firm has offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Newcastle.
Work Process:
Once the brief was agreed, the design was based on their existing brochure. Using it's main colours of black, white, amber as well as x-ray images featured in the brochure. Their existing font was used and a brochure like design developed. A functional specification document was drawn up. Market research was done into the features offered by similar sites as well as the type of audience that frequented them. Mock-ups were then designed and coded.

The Result:
As we took the decision to make this web site stand out from it's competitors and decided not to go for the obvious navy blue and white style of many other trade mark businesses we came across. It really stands out from the crowd and gets the users interest. lets face it, attorneys aren't that exciting are they? But this one is!
