Aldhous Web Design Standards

All our web sites are designed to the highest standard, with W3C standards and accessibility given priority. We are continually striving to make better web sites. To illustrate this point take a quick look at our Contact Us page and give it a try.  It uses image CAPTCHA to stop those nasty automated spam bots, but as this causes problems for people with poor eyesight we have also fitted alternative phonetic spelling validation as well!

We know that this technology is not amazing, but think that it will greatly help those who find it hard to get around image validation methods and is certain to improve over the next few years. We decided if it was good enough for Google it was good enough for us!

Aside from that all our images not only have ALT tags, but the LONGDESC tags and D links also. All our links have Access Keys and titles where needed as do our Forms. 

We also made sure that all pages are fully Validated to W3C Validation Standards and our pages load quickly. You can check by clicking the Footer Links at the base of each page. Please take a look at our Accessibility Standards to see the measures we're implementing in all future work.
